A Creative Christmas Moment to Remember

While celebrating this magical time in Paris, I’m sending you the warmest wishes and wishing you the happiest Christmas, a magical (and creative!) time with your loved ones, and some well-deserved relaxation, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life 🎄✨

And this comes from someone who was literally forced to take a short Christmas break because my parents are in town, and they’re the ones inspiring me to write these exact words.

Why Creative? Well, I explained this idea at the end of this festive newsletter so as not to distract from the core message 😀

My family and I are not only here to celebrate Christmas, but also to celebrate my mom’s 60th birthday - a surprise trip I organized for my parents. Little did anyone know HOW MUCH my parents sacrificed for the last big dream of mine that I achieved this year, before my 31st birthday: getting citizenship in a new country, where I decided to build my life from scratch as an interior designer and artist. They did everything in their power - and more - to help me study interior design abroad and make my childhood dream a reality.

So, this Christmas is truly a special and magical one for me, as I’m able to show my parents all these beautiful places and the dream reality they helped me build.

This holiday season, I wish for you the chance to connect even more with your loved ones, find something you can create or work on together, and, of course, stay healthy - because none of the other things would matter without that.

Before I let you get back to your Christmas table, let me share a few images with you :) They show my mom, who’s an architect, using every spare minute to sketch and develop new ideas, our critique session at the Pompidou museum with my dad - a former director of an art gallery - and a few more magical moments that bring creativity from my world of ASDB, with my parents, who have been a huge part of this journey. Without them, ASDB wouldn’t be here at all!

P.S. Ah, at the beginning I wished you a creative time with your loved ones - why? Well, inspired by my mom's architectural sketches and my own work during this trip, it made me realize how strong a connection such activities create! Seeing beauty in the world together, helping each other develop revolutionary ideas, and supporting each other - believe me, you'll want to give it a try!
