Hi, I'm Anna! :)
I'm an interior designer, illustrator and the founder of the ASDB Academy - a creative community born from seeing how many people, across completely different industries, long to bring their ideas to life with their own personal, hand-drawn touch.
But my story started LONG before the Academy.
As a little girl, I didn't have a room of my own. Instead, I would spend hours flipping through the beautiful architecture and interior design magazines my parents had at home, imagining what MY space could look like.
And that's pretty much how I decided I wanted to become an interior designer :)
But there was one problem...
At art school, I became convinced that my drawings weren't realistic enough compared to everyone else's. I started doubting my abilities and eventually stopped drawing altogether.
My comeback became an interior design school application.
I needed a portfolio, so I returned to those beautiful interiors in magazines and started sketching them. I hoped that even if my drawings weren't perfect, the way I saw and interpreted spaces would say something about me.
And guess what? I GOT IN!!! Once I started studying interior design, drawing became something completely different.
It wasn't just about illustrating beautiful spaces anymore... It became my way of THINKING, experimenting with layouts, testing ideas and developing designs without getting stuck in complicated 3D software or waiting for a render.
My professors noticed. My classmates noticed. And eventually, clients did too. I went on to create illustrations for projects across real estate, hospitality, furniture and interior design.
And then something completely unexpected happened.
People started asking me how THEY could learn to draw like that - to explore their own ideas, communicate their vision and add that unmistakably personal touch to their work.
So I listened. And the ASDB Academy was born.
For the past six years, I've been sharing everything I've learned with people from all kinds of creative and professional backgrounds.
And now, looking at the sketches on this page, I get to see what happens when someone stops questioning whether they're talented enough and starts creating something of their own.
