Maybe your frustration is the answer
Feb 28, 2026
Have you ever had moments when you were overthinking your next business idea, design concept, or even where to start - SO MUCH that the more you thought about it, the farther the groundbreaking idea seemed to move away from you?
If yes... welcome to the overthinking club!
And I want to tell you a story about how the idea that became my purpose appeared in the most unexpected way… and how I almost ignored it.
Since early childhood, I had this dream - to become a well-known interior designer. No niche. No clarity. Just BIG. LOUD. SUCCESSFUL.
But when my parents shut that idea down after high school, I chose something that felt “big enough” - journalism. This is BIG too, right?
Then, when everyone around me was settling into jobs, I moved to a foreign country and started over. Again. This time to study interior design.
Do you think I felt fulfilled? HAH.
Apart from my dramatic “FINALLY, we study interior design!” on the first day (and one girl asking, “Why finally?”), I quickly started doubting everything.
I had MAJOR problems with computer renders.
Two weeks to learn the basics. Still forgetting them.
Paying for extra classes. STILL confused.
Struggling to draw a simple floor plan or 3D walls.
WHAT. THE. HELL.
And without renders? No passing the studies.
And here’s the part nobody talks about:
When something feels this heavy, you start thinking the problem is you.
Maybe I’m not talented enough.
Maybe I’m behind.
Maybe everyone else just “gets it.”
So… what do you do when the required method feels completely wrong?
I switched to the one thing I had been doing outside of school, just for fun - sketching.
Not because it was part of the curriculum.
Not because it was strategic.
But because it felt NATURAL.
I sketched my concepts, ideas, thoughts - EVERYTHING - instead of relying on software.
For the obligatory render classes, I asked a computer-render pro for help. (Let’s keep that between us :D)
And when I finally passed, I knew something very clearly:
That was the LAST time I would ever open rendering software.
Because sketching felt... free.
It was FAST.
It allowed me to test ideas instantly.
And it didn’t cost me anything, which mattered, because I was working part-time at a hotel just to survive.
Drawing took over my life.
And then, after graduation, my “dream job” was canceled because of the pandemic. “The situation is unpredictable…”
They never called back.
My visa couldn’t be extended without employment. I had less than a year to figure something out. No pressure, right...
So I chose the only thing that made sense.
The thing that stopped me from quitting that interior design school.
The thing that made me breathe again.
I decided to sketch interiors. Full time.
No guarantees.
No safety net.
No big following. Back then, I only had my personal Instagram account with around 1K followers, mostly consisting of people I knew more or less.
Just my vision AND advice from my entrepreneur partner, who suggested I reach out to real estate firms because they always need better ways to market properties.
IT WORKED!!
And not just a little...
Interior visualization isn’t a “cute creative hobby.”
It’s part of a BILLION-dollar industry.
Developers.
Real estate firms.
Brands.
Designers.
They ALL need clear, fast visual communication. A unique way to present their properties. A way to market them differently - to stand out, increase sales, and get more eyeballs on their property listings.
And then something unexpected happened...
Designers started writing to me:
“OMG, I hate renders too!”
“The software is SO slow, I need a faster alternative NOW.”
“I’ve always wanted to sketch, but I was told I couldn’t do it, so I never even started...”
And that’s when it clicked!
The thing that frustrated me most built my career.
And maybe, just maybe, the thing frustrating you right now isn’t a sign you’re not good enough.
Maybe it’s a sign you’re forcing yourself into a method that doesn’t fit you.
Maybe your struggle is pointing you toward your own way of working.
This is exactly why I teach fast interior sketching the way I do.
Not because it replaces design fundamentals.
But because I know what it feels like to think you’re behind.
And I know how powerful it is when you finally find a method that feels like you and suits your workflow in the best way possible.
Your frustration might not be blocking you... It might be building you.
And if you’re in that phase right now - stuck, doubting, overthinking - you don’t have to stay there.
That’s why I created the tools and courses you see below. Not to reinvent you... But to help you trust your own creative process faster!
And that’s how we connected in the first place ;)
