My go-to AI + iPad formula for STUNNING designs
Aug 09, 2025
I just designed an entire beach club for my art event with AI in just a few hours including EVERYTHING: the pre-concept phase and the final render. I can’t keep this insight to myself because AI is SUCH a brilliant creative partner for us, definitely not a threat or replacement!
Without it, this project wouldn’t have been possible in the first place (well… it would, but it would have taken days or even weeks longer).
Before we dive into the step-by-step process, I want to show you LIVE how to use AI + iPad drawing in your creative work,
AND...
we’ll draw this stunning lemonade scene from Menton together, with my guidance and AI!
You’re invited to my brand-new LIVE Drawing & Design Workshop, which will bridge the gap between your ideas and their fast, super-creative execution using modern tools that complement your work, NOT replace it ⬇️

Alright, here’s the story… I had the idea to bring creatives together for a summer retreat, enjoying the season by the pool, eating Mediterranean food, and… drawing! But my goal was to integrate the art area seamlessly into the design, not just stick it somewhere off to the side. So, I divided my vision into three zones: chill, eat, draw.
Since the design was still a bit blurry in my head, I started experimenting with different AI generations in Midjourney - some from scratch, some blended with photos of other beach clubs for inspiration. (Yes, AI can blend two images so you get a unique idea that still takes inspiration from the originals!)
After 30+ generations, I picked my top 3 and started refining them. Let’s be honest, raw AI designs can look weird, so this is where the iPad came into play. Working in separate layers allowed me to integrate furniture pieces exactly where I wanted them so the next AI generation would be much closer to my vision.
And then… the final render. Because I had prepared such a precise moodboard with detailed descriptions and furniture integration on my iPad, the render came out EXACTLY how I wanted it - on the very first attempt! CRAZY. Just CRAZY.
Right now, I’m creating the final hand-drawn version because once the render is done, I love to sketch it myself, tweak the façade, and test new ideas on the fly. Plus… I’ll take any excuse to draw more :D
UPDATE: As I finish preparing this newsletter, the drawing is DONE! (So practical for testing new ideas in just a few strokes, I even adjusted the pool scene and color tones slightly)
Now here’s the exciting part: In the upcoming workshop, I’ll show you this entire process live - from AI concept to iPad refinement to final drawing. And attendees will also get a chance to access my full A–Z video tutorials on turning any idea into a final design, ready to bring to life.
