Ralph Lauren interior with AI + iPad sketch
Nov 28, 2025
Cheers from my design world, where I design using iPad + drawing skills + AI:
- A Ralph Lauren-inspired imaginary interior
- My living room render before purchasing the real items
- A story about how to bring ANY idea to life by mastering one key component that breaks the wall between
“I have no clue where to start” and “Holy moly… did I really create this?”
Before diving into drawing hacks, a super important reminder:
My signature interior drawing course retires forever in 3 days!
THOUSANDS of you have learned to draw with me over the past 5 years - all the practical, fun, and easy-to-integrate sketching + AI techniques, with lifetime access. These are the exact methods I’ve been using for high-end clients since 2020.
This is the last time I will ever offer:
- Lifetime access
- This comprehensive roadmap
- My personal support (if you also join the closed community)
>> Learn to draw spaces on iPad with AI → retiring sale (3 days left)
How this Ralph Lauren-inspired space came to life with AI + iPad
1️⃣ It all started with a general idea. I collected inspiration from Ralph Lauren Home on Pinterest and their Instagram account.
2️⃣ Once the final mood board was ready, I sketched a very rough version of the space - no details at all, just imagination and inspiration.
3️⃣ Then I opened AI and described my idea so it could generate multiple variations. After 30+ experiments, I finally found the right match BUT it was missing the Christmas tree. So I refined the idea until the exact space I imagined came to life.
4️⃣ Next, I created the final illustration, adding décor and furniture pieces inspired by the Ralph Lauren Home collection.
5️⃣ And finally, I added a lived-in touch - the Fendi bag and a cup of tea, as if we’d just come home, dropped our things, made tea, and curled up on that super-comfortable sofa. The bag stays exactly where it is - it completes the composition perfectly :D
I can already hear your question:
“This sounds amazing… but how do I sketch an idea when there is NO real starting point? How are these spaces born completely from scratch?”
And that, my friend, brings me to the mysterious technique that gives you FREEDOM in every project.
That technique is called FOUNDATIONS… realism FIRST.
Once you master realism, you’re officially free :) Free to bend the rules, stylize, exaggerate, and express without fear. That’s when creativity truly explodes.
When we study artists like:
- Willem de Kooning
- David Hockney
- Pablo Picasso
- Wassily Kandinsky
…we see the exact same pattern: they all started with detailed realism. Technical mastery first. And only after reaching that ceiling did they begin to distort, stylize, abstract, and create the styles that made them famous.
This is exactly how we develop our own greatness too.
And this is why I don’t want you to miss my signature drawing program because that’s exactly where you build this foundation and then learn, step by step, how to loosen it up confidently.
Again, learn how HERE.
A real moment from my own evolution:
This is a real-life example of how I’m currently stepping into a new level of my skills.
Of course, I was terrified - it felt like being a beginner AGAIN. BUT the moment I picked up my pencil, something magical happened: my hand moved intuitively! It knew which brush to choose, which stroke to use, how much detail was needed.
And just like that… the fear disappeared.
That’s exactly what I want for you too:
To erase the fear of starting by mastering the techniques that give you full creative freedom.
Of course, I’m still using iPad drawing daily for my design projects, including my own home renovation, and I will NEVER stop. Don’t worry, I’m not abandoning iPad sketching just because the course is retiring. Not in this lifetime :D
Just yesterday, I tested a new rug in my living room because I fell in love with its colors and playfulness, but before buying, I wanted to make sure it worked with the sofa I literally ordered the day before. And voilà, that’s the final result. Pretty cool, right? :D

And here’s the home office we designed in the previous newsletter, you can read it HERE.

And with that, I’m ending this incredibly inspiring newsletter. I hope you felt my enthusiasm and openness toward constant evolution, and toward merging traditional drawing with modern tools. I truly love drawing, but I’m way too impatient for classic studio painting. This hybrid approach gives me the freedom I’ve always searched for - and that freedom is simply… indescribable.
With big drawing energy,
Anna at @andshedrawsbig
P.S. I’ll be popping into your inbox a few more times over the next days with reminders. I hope that’s okay - this is truly something I don’t want you to miss. It’s the exact same system I use for all my high-end clients, so… speak very soon ;)
