Things I can’t create without (You’ll want these too!)
Sep 12, 2025
…like turning my iPad into paper for that authentic feel, storing all my pencils and pens in a stylish BUT super practical organizer, and carrying my mobile design studio aka my iPad in a well-protected case wherever I go, without the fear of damaging or scratching it.
I don’t know about you, but for me as a creative, my surroundings matter just as much as the actual creative work of turning imagination into reality through drawing & AI. Speaking of which! Before I show you all the tools I swear by (and that you’ll most certainly fall in love with), let me share the last designs I developed with AI and then re-designed and drew on paper & iPad ↓
Step 1: Brainstorming the direction of your ideas - SO practical for the first client draft.
Step 2: Quicker design testing on iPad. I instantly loved how these pieces suited the space: Ligne Roset sofa, Fendi Casa coffee table, Carl Hansen & Søn chairs.
Step 3: The magical act of drawing where you don’t just create a STUNNING and uniquely yours visual, but also meditate and enjoy every stroke. This is where your mind relaxes.
👉 And yes, you can learn ALL of this inside my Academy HERE, including AI, and discover how to bring your ideas to life by blending tradition with innovation.
Now, on to the things I can’t live without!
1️⃣ The PaperLike screen protector. It literally turns your electronic screen into paper. And with digital markers ahhhh! That unique feel! This is why the right brushes MATTER: they bring results, instead of wasting time searching for ages for the perfect set.
2️⃣ This BRILLIANT organizer. I can literally stare at it ALL DAY and not get bored lol. Impeccable. Stylish. Simply beautiful!! It’s from Vitra and it’s not only practical but also incredibly photogenic for your content (just saying 😉). Watch me unpack it HERE.
3️⃣ THE iPad case of the year. Protects the iPad, super stable, and made of leather. Harber London sent it to me as a Christmas gift, and I instantly fell in love. I even made it our “Student of the Month” award inside the Academy, where I teach how to draw and design on iPad with AI. The next one is coming shortly, by the way!
4️⃣ These organizer boxes. I LOVE THEM! When you have so many cables lying around, plus sketches and documentation that you need nearby (but don’t want to look messy), this is THE box to have.
5️⃣ A table easel. Highly recommend! You can use it with your iPad to take care of your posture and neck. I know firsthand what it’s like to spend an entire day at the desk without moving, so by placing your iPad (or anything else you’re working on) on this table easel, you’re giving your back a bit of love. Even the simplest one works!
I’d say these are my absolute top 5 essentials. Of course, there are still some furniture pieces like my HAY desk or Kartell cabinet, but those are secondary ;)
With that, I wish you an absolutely amazing weekend 💛 Happy creating especially since I know many of my students are in full drawing mode this weekend. By the way, just look at what they’re creating with my guidance!!!

With big drawing energy,
